Taras Sarapin
President

Taras came to Oregon from Russia in 2000 to attend college at Corban University in Salem and decided to make the Willamette Valley his new home. His first job out of school was at Ultrex, and he’s never left. After starting in sales, Taras rose to Sales Manager, became a partner in 2019, and purchased the business in 2021. He is excited about the value Ultrex adds to businesses and our community. “I enjoy being able to solve problems for our customers when it comes to their office equipment and workflows, ” he said, “and helping our staff succeed in their jobs and life.” Taras, with his wife Amber of 17 years and four children, enjoys an active lifestyle of exercising, traveling, and being involved with kids sports and activities.

Phil Kirschenmann
Vice President of Sales

After graduating college from Corban University in 2001 with plans on climbing the corporate ladder with Pepsi, Phil was introduced to outside sales for office equipment and technology. Phil has spent 17 years successfully developing and earning the trust of many local businesses with their office needs. “I love the ability to not only help an office out but to have long-lasting relationships outside of an office.” Phil has been married to Aimee since 1997 and has three wonderful kids who are all active in sports.

Matt Corron
Service Director

Matt oversees the service department at Ultrex, working diligently to maintain excellent customer relations. A native Oregonian, he has worked at Ultrex for over ten years, with much of that time in a leadership role. “I came to Ultrex to stay on the forefront of technology and innovation,” Matt said. When he’s not helping to please clients, Matt enjoys time spent with his wife and 3 girls. He coaches the girls’ softball teams, and the family all enjoy hiking, skiing, boating, and serving in their community and local church.

Jim Smith
IT Director

Jim Smith is a seasoned professional with nearly 25 years of experience in the IT & Tech industry. His journey began working in a mom-and-pop computer store during the Y2K era. Over the last couple of decades, he has found his calling in serving behind the scenes, combining his IT expertise with his passion for serving others. His mission is to empower organizations by helping them choose technology that enhances their work rather than hindering it.

Kymber Green
Executive Administrator

As Executive Administrator at Ultrex, Kymber is the company’s “go-to” girl. “I have a real passion for helping people,” she shared. “Though if I had a superpower, it would be the ability to talk to animals.” Kymber has several mottos to live by: “Any day above ground is a good day to be alive; and “Never underestimate the power of your actions.” How would she like to be remembered? “I’m a workhorse, not a clothes horse.”
