Jim Smith
IT Project Manager
I’m Jim Smith, with nearly 25 years of experience in the IT & Tech industry, my journey began working in a mom-and-pop computer store during the Y2K era. Over the last couple of decades, I’ve found my calling in serving behind the scenes, combining my IT expertise with my passion for serving others. My mission is to empower organizations by helping them choose technology that enhances their work rather than hindering it.
My experience spans various sectors including computer retail, network engineering, break/fix, and being a 1-man IT department. I’ve had the privilege of serving a diverse range of nonprofits, churches, schools, and small businesses, and enjoy the unique challenges that nonprofit IT creates. This field is dynamic and challenging, constantly pushing me to learn and adapt, and I absolutely love what I do!
I’ve had a long-standing relationship with the ownership at Ultrex. When the opportunity arose to establish an IT services branch within this trusted and integrity-focused company, I jumped at the chance. It’s been an exciting journey serving our numerous clients, and I take great pleasure in the constant learning that this job offers.

I’m Ethan, an IT Technician with a passion for connection and a knack for making the complex feel clear. Watching information flow seamlessly across networks is my personal thrill ride, each device a note in a symphony of collaboration. It’s not just about the tech, though – it’s about building bridges.
I got my start nurturing a fledgling IT department, seeing it bloom into a trusted partner for our clients. Every satisfied smile, every solved riddle, fuels my drive. But the real magic lies in human connection. Demystifying technology, turning frustration into understanding – that’s where I truly shine.
My toolkit? Cloud platforms, virtualization, network engineering, and a healthy dose of future-gazing. My name is TJ Wilson. I have been a “tech guy” since my childhood, which started off with taking apart the family computer to understand its inner workings. I have been “investigating” technology ever since – computers, monitors, video game consoles, software, and servers alike.
I spent many years moving around different industries and seeing how each one works in order to offer my own brand of solutions. I’ve been part of the nonprofit sector off and on for 20 years, and I’ve experienced the retail, call center, transportation, and software licensing industries up and down the West Coast before finally landing in the MFP and Tech Industry with Ultrex.
I have always moved forward with the idea that every problem is waiting for a solution. Whatever your problem, I will find a solution.

Andrae Snegirev

I’m Andrae, and I love getting to serve people – especially when it comes to reminding technology that it’s also supposed to help people and not hinder them.
I’ve been fascinated with Tech and the IT industry since college, and I enjoy digging in to understand how it all works together. Technology has changed and grown in leaps and bounds over the last 20 years, and it is incredibly fun for me to be a part of. But I know it’s not everyone else’s passion. Once I realized that my desire to serve others and for fixing and optimizing tech complimented each other really well, I was given the opportunity to be the sole IT guy for one organization for 3 years before finding myself at Ultrex.
Getting to use my IT expertise to help churches, nonprofits, and businesses alike is incredibly special. Everyone has an important role to play in making this world better, and if I can help you get back to doing what you do best by taking care of your IT needs with my team, I’m excited to do so!

My passion for tech started early—back when I set up my first Minecraft server for friends, a moment that sparked my fascination with problem-solving and innovation.
Since then, I’ve built and managed websites, harnessed powerful marketing tools, and navigated a wide range of business technologies. I understand the unique challenges small business owners face—wearing multiple hats, adapting to constant change, and finding efficient ways to grow.

Caden Randolph
IT Support Technician
My fascination with technology began early. When my parents installed our family PC, the first thing I did was break it by uninstalling Windows. Luckily, I’ve gotten a little better at working on computers since then.
In high school I enrolled in a technical training program that taught everything from computer maintenance to penetration testing. Over those two years, I picked up valuable skills that helped pay for college and showed me the joy of fixing broken things.
I’ve always held to a simple guiding principle: don’t just fix the problem — find the source of it. Set things up so technology works for you, not the other way around. There is nothing more satisfying than getting to the root of a problem and solving it for good.
When I’m not in the lab, you can find me on the ski slopes or climbing walls here in the Willamette Valley. As a new Oregon resident, I’m still hunting for hidden outdoor gems. I’ve lived in a lot of different places, and I love discovering the little spots that make each one unique — so if you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them.
