I’m Jim Smith, a seasoned professional with nearly 25 years of experience in the IT & Tech industry. My journey began working in a mom-n-pop computer store during the Y2K era. Over the last couple decades, I’ve found my calling in serving behind the scenes, combining my IT expertise with my passion for serving others. My mission is to empower organizations by helping them choose technology that enhances their work rather than hindering it.
My experience spans various sectors including computer retail, network engineering, break/fix, and being the sole IT support for an organization. I’ve also had the privilege of serving a diverse range of nonprofits, churches, schools, and small businesses. This field is dynamic and challenging, constantly pushing me to learn and adapt, and I absolutely love what I do!
I’ve had a long-standing relationship with the ownership at Ultrex. When the opportunity arose to establish an IT services branch within this trusted and integrity-focused company, I jumped at the chance. It’s been an exciting journey serving our numerous clients, and I take great pleasure in the constant learning that this job offers.
